The Ins & Outs of Inventories: What To Know When Using i-Tree To Conduct Your Tree Survey

Many communities with limited resources turn to i-Tree for traditional street and park tree inventories. i-Tree applications, including i-Tree Eco and the original i-Tree Streets, offer ready-made protocols for collecting common tree inventory data, and are tools designed primarily for structural and tree benefit analyses with specifications and limitations to consider. This webinar will explore the possibilities and options for using i-Tree applications for small scale tree inventory projects, including lessons learned from other small communities.

i-Tree allows any community to conduct and analyze sample or compete street tree inventory data, and make estimates of the structure, function and value of these components of your urban forest. Baseline data can be used to effectively manage the resource, develop policy and set priorities. Looking at information collected on existing street trees, this software allows managers to evaluate current benefits, costs, and management needs.

PRE-REGISTRATION is required for this session in order to provide the most streamlined user experience. Please visit https://goo.gl/1EjAgh to register.
