Now Availible – Replay of Web Session – “Planning the Urban Forest: Ecology, Economy and Community Development”
The webcast presentation, “Planning the Urban Forest: Ecology, Economy and Community Development” which originally was presented on March 10, 2009 is now available for viewing or download. This webcast session outlines a new publication, prepared by the American Planning Association (APA) in collaboration with the International Society of Arboriculture (ISA) and American Forests (AF), and supported by the U.S. Forest Service, which addresses the need for planners to adopt a green infrastructure approach and presents guidelines for incorporating trees into the planning process.
