Tree Value Tree Tags Templates

The USDA Forest Service Urban Natural Resources Institute (UNRI), has updated a few i-Tree public awareness products, that can be used to provide the value and function of trees growing in a community.  The ‘Tree Benefits Labels” can be modified for your community.

We have prepared three versions for your use.  Please click on each image belowt to download and editable PDF file for your use.The labels utilize the scientific calculations developed in the MyTree application, which is part of the i-Tree suite of software tools.  MyTree provides of the ecosystem services provided by a tree growing in an urban setting. The idea of the project is to provide the general public with information in a creative and attention getting manner. The inclusion of a ‘bar-coded’ scanning identifier on the labels helps to get a person’s attention as they pass by the tags, which can be hung from tree trunks, and branches, in conspicuous public locations.
