Thankfully most municipalities are not "Paying". Snake-oil Salesmen comes to mind. Until there is a cost-effective control that PROMISES elimination of the bug, tree-planting is the only choice to make with such an obvious outcome.

While EAB is terrible, it is a dis-service to taxpayers to spend money so experimentally. Maybe $akville doesn't feel this pressure but landowners and small towns do. How does this benefit land and home owners? Will Oakville be subsidizing this?

John, I enjoyed the EAB webcast last week. It was well orchestrated and quite informative. Just checked out your new video also. Kudos to you and your staff for initiating these pro-active EAB activities. Hopefully other municipalities are paying attention to what you are achieving.
