Urban Forestry Standards – Contributors Needed
Over the next several months, an international team of contributors will be developing a new tool - Urban Forestry Data Collection Standards, which will establish an international set of data collection and reporting standards that can be used in the discipline of urban forestry and arboriculture. The standards will include research, management and planning components.
The Standards are being developed through a partnership of the IUFRO-Urban Forestry Working Group, the International Society of Arboriculture (ISA), the USDA Forest Service, and the Urban Natural Resources Institute (UNRI). Over 180 members are presently on the Standards Team, representing contributors from 14 countries, and all regions of the globe. Your participation in this effort will help to strengthen the overall usefulness, value and relevance of the new standards. Please consider becoming part of the Development Team.
If you are interested in contributing to the effort, please visit www.unri.org/standards or send an email to standards@unri.org.
